Doha dan Tel Aviv senditi tidak memiliki hubungan politik apapun. Rezim Zionis pemimpin Kadima, Tzipi Livni menyambut Emir Qatar dan Perdana Menteri, Sheikh Hamad Bin Jasim Bin Jaber Al Thani selama kunjungan tersebut berlangsung.

Emir Qatar dan delegasi juga bertemu pejabat Tinggi Israel lainnya. Penandatangan kontrak gas ekspor dan menulis buku teks Qatar oleh para rezim Zionis adalah beberapa topik yang dibahas antara Sheikh Hamad dan Livni.

Sheikh Hamad dilaporkan menekankan pentingnya hubungan politik antara kedua belah pihak tersebut. Livni juga mengatakan kepada Qatar bahwa pentingnya dilakukan pembicaraan antara Arab dan Rezim Zionis.(Republika)
