Indonesia Delegates to "Asian to Gaza Solidarity Caravan" Set to March into Gaza

Jakarta - Press Release : 12 civil resisters from Indonesia will be flagging off from Jakarta on 8th of December 2010 as part of the first "Asia to Gaza Solidarity Caravan" which will travel across Iran, turkey, Syria, Lebanon and Egypt to reach Gaza-Palestine. In each country along the way, civil resisters will join the Solidarity Caravan. Asians from other countries (India, Korea, Japan, Iran, Malaysia, Nepal, Bangladesh, Turkey, etc.) will join the Solidarity Caravan at different points along route. This Caravan is a pan-Asia initiative and Asians are organizing as Asian People's Solidarity for Palestine (APSP).

The caravan will arive in Gaza on 27 December 2010, which will mark the second Anniversary of the Israel brutal aggresion on Gaza and the Victory of National Palestinian Resistance.
This is a historic Asian effort which should be supported by all of us. We call upon you to join us on Wednesday, 8 December 2010 at 09.30 at Gedung Nusantara III Komplek DPR/MPR (Nusantara Building III Indonesia People House of Representatives) to discuss situation in Palestine and political relevance of first Asia to "Gaza Solidarity Caravan" and how to support it.
